Standard 08 students are made aware of the VSET programs and its theme. So the main focus of the S08 programs revolves around:

• Becoming more sensitive towards/ develop inter-connectedness with family
• Helping anyone in need without prompting
• Responding to a situation rather than reacting to it
• Becoming aware of our indebtedness to the universe
• Refinement in overall behaviour
• Getting connected to VSET theme - Quality care and concern for all

JoyClub:

The VSET JoyClub programs in Standard 08 are aimed at ‘Behavioural refinement’ of the pupil through topics like:

• S08.01-Happiness
• S08.02-Getting along with others
• S08.03-Respect and reverence
• S08.04-Anger management
• S08.05-Helping
• S08.06-Assumptions
• S08.07-Patience
• S08.08-Determination
• S08.09-Insecurity
• S08.10-Interconnectedness and interdependence
• S08.11-Jealousy
• S08.12-Duty and responsibility
• S08.13-Sharing
• S08.14-Active-hasty/patient-lazy
• S08.15-Boredom

JoyCamp:

The students of Standard 08 would have attended one JoyCamp program and therefore, VSET now tries to draw the students towards the theme slowly with the intent of:

• The role of various people in one’s life
• Emphasis on the basic theme of quality care and concern for all
